In the image, try to identify different parts of the house and the activities taking place where AI might be used. Make a list of what you’ve noted and then click to reveal the second image which will show you where AI is being used to run these daily tasks around the house.
Let’s go on a Scavenger Hunt!
- Form groups of 3-4 people each. This can be a group of classmates, family or friends.
- Carry out this hunt in your classroom, community park, home, or mall.
- Spread out and observe everything around you for 30 minutes.
- Make a list of everyday products and activities around you that use AI. Make sure you have had a look at the reading material provided to you in the Study Room.
- At the end of 30 minutes, all groups will meet and compare their lists.
- Ask yourselves the following questions?
- Who had the most number of items on their list?
- Were any items the subject of debate, as to whether AI was being used in that activity or product or not?
- What aspect of the space that you explored could soon be using AI?
